Wilco made its Nonesuch Records debut with the release of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on April 23, 2002.
On the album, Wilco delivers a thrillingly experimental work that scored a perfect 10 on Pitchfork, which hailed the album "simply a masterpiece." The New York Times said that "songs about love, America, apocalypse, and self-invention unfold in richly enigmatic arrangements" on the album. Rolling Stone named Yankee Hotel Foxtrot the No. 3 Album of the 2000s.
