In 2006, too pure released mcluskyism, a lasting testament to one of the most under-rated UK bands of recent years - mclusky. Since they disbanded in early 2005, their legendary status has only grown.
To date, there are few around that share mclusky's musicianship, graft and humor (which, aptly according to Pitchfork, “lightens the harsh crunch of their mom-murdering instrumental beatdown” and “gives them a way to take the piss out of themselves”). This album is a reminder of just how sorely missed mclusky are.
