Fully restored (many versions do not have the intro) and re-mastered this 1984 album was the only one released on a major label. Recorded in Surrey Sound with Nigel Gray subsequently remixed and added to at RAK studios with Ian Broudie at the helm it is by many considered to be a seminal record in the history of Goth music. It reached No19 in the album charts but didn't provide the record company with the 'hit' single they desired. Never the less it stands as a unique and different album, from the power of 'Come Inside' and pulsing 'Wake up' openers to the atmospheric closer 'The Night'.
