Behind the "Shape" project is Prokopis Tzilis, who is running "Lotus" record store in Thessaloniki, Greece and used to be co-owner of the record label "Poeta Negra", which stopped its activities in 2008. He participated in local formations (UVA, Natural Material), while from time to time, he also made some home recordings.

A few months ago, he "discovered" in some forgotten boxes a series of recordings from 2001, which were practically never completed. We thought that some of them might be worth to be released and heard by other people. As the files of the recordings have been permanently lost, there was no possibility for interventions, changes, corrections, so essentially they will be released with the flaws of their original recording.

The three tracks included in "The (Un)fished Sessions", are quite different from each other, but they exhale the aura of the early '00's. Rather deep in their feeling, they assimilate and contain ambient, electronica, technoid, kraut elements.

“The (Un)fished Sessions” will be released on 10”, in a limited edition of 158 copies by Kinetik Records and will not be reissued.
