Ada Oda, Italian Post-Punk *with the Brussels charm”, is back with a second album “Pelle d’oca”, to be released on February 21, 2025 (62 records/Lisbon Lux records/La Tempesta dischi).

Since their first LP, "Un Amore Debole" (2022), the band has secretly crafted 9 new songs, drawing from the energy of their 200+ concerts across Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Lithuania, Romania, Croatia, Austria,...) and the United States/Canada! We’ve seen the band on the stages of Rock en Seine and Europavox (FR); Pukkelpop and Dour (BE), South by Southwest (US), FME (CA), Fusion Festival and Reeperbahn (DE), ESNS and Best Kept Secret (NL), MI AMI Festival (IT), Monkey Week (ES) to name a few.

The songs on Pelle d’Oca were written at home by César Laloux, mainly between 2023 and 2024, before the band went on tour. Initially tested in Pisa in November 2023 at Ale Sportelli Recording Studio, they were later recorded and produced as a group in Ghent with Pieterjan Coppejans, and finally mixed in Atlanta at Mirror Mirror Studio by Graham Tavel.

Pelle d’Oca (Goosebumps) embodies the collision of two opposing emotions: pleasure and fear. This paradox reflects the band’s journey between the excitement of a debut album that propelled them onto electrifying stages across Europe and North America and the more intimate origins of the album's themes: the fear of impossible love (E questa è la vita, Settembre, Ho Amato Tutto), the fear that feeds jealousy (La Gioventù, Sotto la Conchiglia), the fear of a world spiraling out of control (In Piazza, Figlia d’Europa, Sicurezza Priorità), the fear of death (Sul Palo), the fear of expressing emotions (Immobile, Vecchia Storia).

The album delivers a mix of poignant ballads, effective pop songs, and punk anthems crafted from raw live energy. The production is stripped-back, with striking guitars, immediate melodies, and a taut, driving rhythm section. At its core is Victoria’s voice, oscillating between emotional singing and breathless spoken- word delivery.
