Nineteen trenchant observations on all possible and impossible aspects of life, and all in under 44 minutes: Tempo, distorted power chords and catchy melodies are the main ingredients for GRUSS AUS DER KÜCHE, the new album from Ernte 77.
The songs are shorter again, but the density of ideas is higher. Without pausing for breath, the band moves from one lyrical microcosm to the next, while notoriously quoting their way through (not only) punk history. The album is a typical band balancing act between harmonious choruses and exhausting screeching.
Ernte 77 continue to do their thing in DIY style and therefore remain one of the most unique punk bands, in the best sense of the word.
