Moster! is presenting their 6th full length album “Springs”, four years after their critically acclaimed “Dust Breathing” (2020). A diverse reference palette has been a trade mark of all Moster! releases, but now the various sources of inspiration has been morphed into the most wholesome album by the Norwegian quartet so far. The compositions are all signed saxophonist and band leader Kjetil Moster. His 25 years as a musician and artist has been built on juggling a vast diversity of musical genres, and the work is clearly starting to bear fruits. Built on the same foundation as earlier; an amalgam of 1960's/1970's acoustic and electric jazz and 1970's experimental rock, with also references to Brazilian flavours, doom, contemporary music, 1990's indie rock and Nordic ambient. An ear for the sonic connections between these genres and seamlessly combining them into a singular band sound is one of the strong qualities of “Springs”.
