Belfast’s New Pagans' debut album, with influences ranging from PJ Harvey to Sonic Youth, is home to massive riffs and rare dynamics and uses their creative influence to challenge past and present issues surrounding relationships, equality, history, and gender, all wrapped up in their alternative, post-punk, indie rock style.
With a fierce attitude, gritty pop-sensibilities alongside striking vocals, driving rhythms and lucid guitar tones (not to mention a ‘Best Live Act’ at the NI Music Prize), this band are definitely ones to watch.
