The Radar Station emerged in 2017 from the musical collaboration between brothers Brent Buckler (lead vocals, guitar) and Sander Cliquet (backings vocals, lead guitar), carving out a distinct space in indie rock. Drawing inspiration from The National, The War on Drugs, Big Thief and Nick Cave, their music blends ambition, raw emotion, and expansive soundscapes.

After winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2020, their debut album Life Inside A Tornado gained widespread airplay and led to sold-out shows at AB, Trix, and Het Depot, as well as festival slots at Dranouter and Labadoux. Now, after years of writing and evolving, The Radar Station returns with the new single Big Big Town, Produced by Koen Gisen. The band refined its signature mix of expansive soundscapes by Cliquet and introspective lyrics by Buckler, all carried by his warm and richly textured voice.

With drummer Robbe Broeckx, bassist Toon Rumen, and percussionist Wes Verschoren rounding out the lineup, The Radar Station has evolved far beyond the band you first heard in 2020.
