Old recordings of Adrian Borland, the ex-singer of the new wave group The Sound, which is especially popular in the Netherlands, who committed suicide in 1999. His old musical buddy Bart van Poppel (Tambourine, Lois Lane) refurbished the demos, recorded some extra parts, and self-released them as The Amsterdam Tapes.
