Drummer Kevin Godley and Guitarist Lol Creme were founding members of 10cc, along with Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman. The band achieved considerable success in the 1970s and were known for their eclectic style, combining elements of rock, pop, and art rock. In 1977 they left 10cc and went on as duo Godley & Creme to explore even more the boundaries of pop music, experimenting with innovative techniques and storytelling approaches.
This “Godley & Creme – Collected” is the definitive compilation of their genius’ work, combining all the Godley & Creme highlights like “Under Your thumb”, “Wedding Bells”, “A Little Piece Of Heaven”, “Cry” and “An Englishman In New York”, with B-sides and 12-inch remixes, together with early work from their 10cc years, like “Donna”, “Rubber Bullets” and “Life Is A Minestrone” and work from their various musical cooperations from even before.
In 1988 Kevin and Lol ended their working relationship and went their separate ways.
