Jeane Lee (1939-2000) was an African American vocalist, poet, composer, improvisor, activist & educator, In her 40 year career she played with; Archie Shep, Marion Brown, Frank Lowe, William Parker, Andrew Cyrille,Anthony Braxton, Ran Blake, BillyBang,Cecil Tylor, John Cage, Rshsaan Roland Kirk, PaulineOliveros, Reggie Workman and manny more.

Original release on her own Erthforms records in 1975 in low numbers maybe 500 copies. OG,s go for up to £300 when they turn up. with the agreement of Jeanne Lee's partner in music and life Gunter Hampel the album is available in all formats onece more.
