Beginning in 2006 with It’s Right to Be Civil, Marc Mac quietly embarked on what has become one of the most original long-form projects in contemporary independent music. Conceived not simply as albums but as audio documentaries pressed onto vinyl, each release combines original production with carefully curated speeches, interviews, broadcasts and historical recordings, transforming fragments of Black history into immersive musical journeys. Across six volumes; It’s Right to Be Civil, Extend the Knowledge, Message From Soulville, Generation X, All Power to the People and The Invisible Soldiers the soundbites drops names and instances that allow the listener to explore further. Each LP is pressed on 180gram Black Vinyl.
