The Alan Parsons Project’s multi-million selling album The Turn of a Friendly Card, their celebrated prog pop tour de force, is reissued in a variety of formats, including an Abbey Road remaster, expanded CD with 4 bonus tracks.
Their 5th studio album is a concept album approaching themes of the gambling industry and the fate of gamblers. The album was a worldwide hit, achieving platinum and gold status in numerous countries.
Like other Alan Parsons Project albums, there were a variety of different lead vocalists employed including Chris Rainbow, Lenny Zakatek, Elmer Gantry as well as Eric Woolfson himself. Plus, a selection of session musicians such as guitarists Ian Bairnson and David Paton and drummer Stuart Elliott with arrangements by Andrew Powell.
