Part of the Jean-Pierre Leloir Collection, Monk’s Music is an important album because it is one of the very few testimonies of Thelonious Monk’s band at the time John Coltrane was a regular member. The 180 gram LP Monk’s Music was released in 1957 for the first time and includes the bonus track ‘Ruby, My Dear’ featuring John Coltrane.
