This release contains a splendid session by Tommy Flanagan’s Super Jazz Trio with Reggie Workman on bass and Joe Chambers on drums in its entirety. Two more songs by the same formation, a duet of Flanagan with Jim Hall on the standard “My One and Only Love”, and five rare duets of Flanagan with bassist Keter Betts playing the music of Bud Powell have been added as a bonus.
