Vathres is the new project by Swedish-based keyboardist and composer Alex Zethson, who usually performs with acts such as Angles 9, Fire! Orchestra Goran Kajfeš Tropiques, Sven Wunder and Mariam the Believer, in addition to his own ensembles and solo projects. Record consists of three extended pieces of cinematic, minimalist post-rock featuring a large ensemble and appearances by guitar-wizard Reine Fiske (Dungen), keyboardist Tomas Hallonsten, former Meshuggah-bassist Gustaf Hielm and Cult of Luna-drummer Christian Augustin, among others. LP comes in a Tip-On sleeve with artwork by Michell Zethson.
