Double LP reissue of Air Miami’s lost-classic 1995 album, ‘Me. Me. Me.’ Remastered from original 2” tapes and now including 3 extra tracks. This one time pressing comes on coloured vinyl and in a gatefold sleeve. Born from the ashes of celebrated D.C. band Unrest, Air Miami are the duo of Bridget Cross and Mark Robinson. A transatlantic joint production between record labels 4AD and Mark’s own Teenbeat, their debut album Me. Me. Me. was recorded at Criteria Studios in Miami, FL (where the likes of AC/DC, Aretha Franklin, Eagles and Lil Wayne all recorded classic works) and produced by Guy Fixsen (The Breeders, My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab). Featuring singles ‘I Hate Milk’, ‘Seabird’ and ‘World Cup Fever’, it’s grown something of a cult status since its release.
This new deluxe edition of the album sees all 16 tracks from the album sessions being remastered from their original 2" analogue tapes by Pete Weiss (who has recently overseen similar work for acts such as Belly, Morphine and Type O Negative). Featuring 3 more tracks than the original, this new version finds the album now housed in a gatefold sleeve with Hideaki Kodama’s ‘GIRL B 1988’ photo still adorning the cover. Cut at 45 rpm and spread over two discs (pressed on Floridian-inspired aqua and orange vinyl).
