'Lern ma Deutsch!‘ - The Emscherkurve77's cult record, which has been sold out and highly traded for almost two decades, is finally available again - strictly limited - as a collector's edition with a fat bonus LP ('and other lessons’)!
For the 'Lern ma Deutsch!' album, the guys rerecorded their favorite Oi! & Punk & Hardcore songs together with the original singers of the bands, interpreted them with tongue-in-cheek humor and Germanized them ‘perfectly’! From The Cracks' 'This is my world' to The Toasters, Murphy's Law, (Secret Agent Skin..er Spiller), Cockney Rejects, Agnostic Front, The Business, Dropkick Muphys, Antiseen...oh, just check out the tracklist for yourself. Such a record with this prominent participation will probably never come again! Timeless, definitely not recommended by the Minister of Culture and still something very special today!
But that's not all, because the bonus LP contains ‘other lessons’ in the form of demo rarities and sought-after sampler contributions, e.g. from the Johnny Cash tribute sampler (‘San Quentin’ with Gunter Gabriel), a cover song by Gunter himself (Intercity Linie Nr.4) or all the songs from the split record with Hudson Falcon's ‘One Size Slits All’ from 2003, which is also out of print. A total of 27 songs (or is it even 28?) on double vinyl for the first time! A punky tutoring session!
