Born from multiple facets of the storied London hardcore scene, False Reality is a living embodiment of the genre's core values; connection, strength, and cutting through the facetiousness. Coming together through various factions of the scene's ecosystem, the four piece have cemented a reputation as one of the scene's most dominating live forces, bringing years of heavily honed stage presence to the fore. Today, the band announce FADED INTENTIONS; a debut album that is far from just a follow up to last year's riotously received Path of Self Destruct EP, but a huge sonic advancement that finds one of the UK's most bruising hardcore units expanding their horizons and uncovering the multitudes of human existence in the process.

Comprised of individuals deeply rooted in the underground music scene, False Reality are a London-based hardcore band that formed in 2023.
Renowned for their thrash-infused, hardcore crossover sound and fiercely energetic performances they draw influences from bands such as Trapped Under Ice, Broken Teeth and Backtrack as well as early-era Sepultura and even Deftones.
False Reality have carved out a distinct identity, leaving an imprint on audiences who have witnessed their performances.
Having already shared the stage with the likes of Speed, Jesus Piece, Madball, Buried Alive and Static Dress, garnering support both locally and nationally, False Reality are solidifying their status as one of the most exciting acts in the UK heavy music scene.
Though formed in 2023, False Reality feels like a culmination of a lifetime spent in the eye of the storm.
Rachel Rigby, vocalist and lyricist, started attending hardcore shows in Essex and London as a young teenager; at 21, she started hosting festivals.
“There wasn’t much female representation at the time, so I felt that it was important to send a message,” Rigby says. Not long after that, she decided, “Why stop there?;” in that spirit, she formed False Reality as her first band.
