GIMP FIST celebrating their 20th anniversary and here's their birthday present: sold out for over 10 years here are the first three (official) releases available again as special collector's editions: ‘Your Time Has Come’, ‘The Place Where I Belong’ & ‘Marching On And On’ each include a rare bonus track now, and come as 180gr colored splatter vinyl! Each colored edition is limited to only 233 copies! With their 2010 full lenght, ‘The Place Where I Belong,’ the trio underscored their status and created timeless and important classics with anthems like ‘Skinhead Not a Bonehead’ and ‘Here I Stand.’ Socially critical assessments of society and politicians alternated with a clear commitment to the ‘working class’ and subculture. The Ox fanzine wasn't the only one who was enthusiastic: ‘Hardly any skinhead band today manages to play Oi! punk as anthemically and rousingly as Cock Sparrer did in their prime. Fortunately, there are still a few exceptions to this rule, and England's GIMP FIST are one of them.
