In 1978 Guru Guru changed their line-up once again and to communicate their musical change, they renamed themselves the Guru Guru Sun Band. Originally released in 1979, Hey Du! is a unique combination of Krautrock, Afro, Latin, Brazilian, Disco and Jazz. Recorded at the band’s own studio in their community house in Finkenbach and in the studio of the iconic ‘70s music producer/engineer Conny Plank, who co-produced Hey Du! with GURU GURU.
