Three years after "Symphonies of Horror" and the split EP "Greensleeves" with "THE CRIMSON GHOSTS" in 2022, they present their first album with a new line-up.
More dark, alternative rock'n'horror!
Band founder and singer Slaughter Lamb has built a stable band with bassist/guitarist Chris Cranium (ex-The Other / Sumerian Tombs), drummer Fab McIan (ex-Schelmish) and guitarist Dr. Hoffmann, who now present their Hymns Of The Dead. The four deliver a dark punk rock record with influences from gothic rock and a pinch of metal that goes far beyond the usual genre boundaries of horror punk.
The twelve new songs are faster, heavier and more melodic than ever before. In tracks such as "Take it all away", "The fiends in me" and "Seasons of my life", synths expand the band's sound, while in the Wednesday Addams bow "Her other side", a rock'n'roll piano to the shuffle groove is a must, with scene great NIM VIND contributing guest vocals and guitars!
Lyrically, the band has become more diverse, covering not only horror but also dark personal themes and the horrors of current reality. But once again the party is not neglected and so HELLGREASER celebrate the scene, the music, their outsider existence and themselves in "Hymns of the Dead" - together with Hans from LEFT HAND BLACK!
