We don't know how often we've been asked in the last few years when the complete OXO86 discography would finally be available on vinyl again and why a release is always forgotten in the process....Here you go, but now: Here are the “Stories of Suburbia” at last and since good things take time, there's also something very special as a release: Originally released in 2010 as a split LP (with Mona Reloaded), the 7 “forgotten” OXO86 songs are now available for the first time on a double-sided “punched-cut out 12inch” vinyl. What is it? While shape vinyls are flexed from the outside to get a special shape, this is a classic round thing, but with punched-out shapes worked into the vinyl.
Not at all commonplace, very complex in the pressing process and also new territory for our pressing plant!
We secretly let out a tear of joy at the result, but see for yourself!
Limited in 3 colors (of course 180gr. vinyl) adapted from the original cover and inlay, the drinking and partying songs of the Bernauer finally see the turntable again. That's where they belong!
