Originally released in 2004, Retriever will be available on vinyl for the first time with a limited edition blue pressing and a limited edition cd in card gatefold sleeve.
Retriever was produced by Martin Terefe and features a wealth of finely honed Sexsmith gems including ‘Hard Bargain’ (covered by Emmylou Harris on her 2011 album of the same name), ‘Imaginary Friends’ (“a cautionary children’s song” says Ron), and Ron’s tribute to Bill Withers ‘Whatever It Takes’ (covered [as a duet with Ron] by Michael Buble on his 2009 multi-platinum album ‘Crazy Love’)
