A Brazilian samba-jazz group integrated by pianist César Camargo Mariano, bassist Humberto Clayber, and drummer Airto Moreira, Sambalanço Trio started its run in the mid 1960’s and lasted for just about two years. The albums they recorded during that short but intense lapse, are considered among the most important musical works of that period, and greatly influenced many other groups of samba and jazz. Presented here is their debut album, the self-titled Sambalanço Trio, along with six bonus tracks.
