To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Hamburgbased dub label Echo Beach is treating itself to a multidimensional portrait of its home and Hanseatic city of Hamburg. The label has already traveled the world musically and released dub sets from the UK, South Africa, New Zealand, New York, Jamaica and Germany. King Size Dub - Hamburg is the first album compilation dedicated exclusively to dub music from Hamburg. Even when the label entered the stage with a compilation of UK dub, there were already sound masters such as Silly Walks and Dub Me Ruff, projects by producer Matthias Arfmann and bands such as Dub Division and Di Iries a lively dub scene in Hamburg, which has blossomed just as wildly over the decades as the Echo Beach label outside Germany, with overlaps and crossovers occurring. Now the time of harvest has come: The first DubLabel has teamed up with the best record store in town, and not just for Dub-Heads, and pressed a groove full of versions, specials and exclusives from the Hamburg studios. The CD version is a double CD
