Tonight I'll Go Down Swingin' is a star-studded tribute to one of the lesser-known greats in the L.A. session scene: Don Heffington. Heffington worked in the 1970's and 80's as the drummer for Emmylou Harris and alt. country trailblazers Lone Justice before cutting sessions with greats like Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam and others. Many of the artists Don worked with pay loving tribute to him in diverse renditions of his original songs.
