Jewel Case

With their ability to compose and perform an uncompromising mix of death metal and grindcore, complemented with provocative artwork and merchandise designs, Aborted became an essential pioneer of the extreme metal scene and released 11 successful full-length albums since the mid Nineties. They celebrated the band’s 25th Anniversary Show in 2020 on board of the world’s biggest metal cruise, “70.000 Tons Of Metal”, and gathered a massive global following. Furthermore, they have always been active building their own brand by releasing their signature hot sauce, action figures and collector’s toys, and even offer their own coffee brand or beach flipflops. Despite the heaviness and gory nature of their music, Aborted actively supported charity campaigns or donated parts of their merchandise income to “National Alliance To End Homelessness”, teamed up with other bands to launch a shirt in benefit to the Ukrainian war refugees, and have also been a long term member of “Metalheads Against Racism”. With the latest album ‘ManiaCult’, Aborted entered the German charts on #33 and US Current Hard Music Albums on #7, while ‘Retrogore’ charted on #4 of ‘Top New Artists’ on the Billboard Charts and ‘TerrorVision’ had entered the US Billboard Charts on #4 (Heatseeker) and #9 (Current Hard Music). After releasing music and playing worldwide tours for almost 30 years, mastermind Sven De Caluwe and his band still push their musical boundaries and reinvent themselves constantly. In October 2022, the band released the much-lauded single “Infinite Terror” and embarked on a US tour with Lorna Shora before locking themselves up to complete work on 12th studio opus,
