Formed in Chicago, IL in 1984 the band Natas changed its name to Not Us after several demos in the 80’s. NATAS / Not Us performs a wide range of extreme music style: Crossover Thrash, Hardcore Punk, Thrash and early death Metal. Imagine a mixture of Master, Crumbsuckers, Dark Angel, Excel and D.R.I.  A roughly differentiated can be made between Thrash/Death Metal in their early days and Hardcore/Thrash Metal (in the later phase of the band). Natas / Not Us featured Scott Oppenhagen (vocals, guitar) ex-Master, Dave Soderdahl (bass) and Bruce Pierce (drums). Discography 1985 – 1990 contains:  "Think What You Want" LP (1989.
