Still shining brightly, a cornerstone of modern AOR! Samuel Purdey's only album, "Musically Adrift," by Gavin Dodds and Barney Hurley (also early Jamiroquai tour members), is set for re-release with previously unreleased tracks!
To preserve everything of "SAMUEL PURDEY," Barnie's family and Gavin, following Bernie's passing last year, have compiled a complete edition that includes all existing released tracks, such as "LUCKY RADIO (GRAMERCY PARK EDIT)" and "WHATEVER I DO (INSTRUMENTAL)," which were previously only available on singles, and the bonus track "HELP ME SEE" from the album's re-release, in addition to the original album!
Furthermore, for this release, Gavin unearthed a demo track from the band's archives: a cover of the Four Tops' classic "I Just Can't Get You Out Of My Mind"! The booklet also features a memorial album that covers everything about the band, including photos from that era and comments by Gavin! (The jacket and booklet contents for the CD and cassette differ.)
