`Seventh Seal’ – originally released on the Mystic Red Corporation label in 1988 - was the blueprint for what would become the UK Dub / Roots scene, inspiring many others make bass-heavy dub music with a lean towards Jah Shaka sound system and the likes of Augustus Pablo and King Tubby.
`Sound Iration were made up of Scruff Gilder and Nick Manasseh who would go on to create the classic `Sound Iration In Dub’ album a year later.
Still sounding fresh, this mid-paced stepper (mostly instrumental, apart from an intro from Tena Stelin) features a hypnotic repetitive rhythm features melodica and hints of flute wafting in and out of the mix of the three cuts.
