This album is a compilation of sessions held at Tiny Room Studio, run by Greg, and is a worthwhile listen, with the skills of each player fully displayed, centered around the groovy bass played by MonoNeon's Bottom, who participates throughout the album. Top drummers in the contemporary jazz scene such as Ronald Bruner Jr. (Thundercat, Kamasi Washington) and Robert Sput Searight (Snarky Puppy, TOTO) are also featured, as well as Chesley Allen, who also plays in the backing bands of Meghan Trainor and Queen Naija, and Rusran Sirota, who won a Grammy Award for his work with the Stanley Clarke Band. This is a session at the pinnacle of contemporary jazz, where each performance quietly sparks off on a mellow and groovy sound influenced by hip-hop and R&B.
