A band you need to check out next in Korea’s rising shoegaze scene—FOG—is gaining attention not just in Asia but also across the US and Europe.

This six-piece shoegaze band consists of Gyn (Vocals & Guitars), Ryu (Guitars), Oh (Bass), Bang9suk (Drums), Park (Synths), and Guinneissik (FX). They have also been active as support members for Parannoul and Asian Glow. Now, their two simultaneously released albums from last November, "fogesque II" & "fogesque III," are finally coming to vinyl.

"fogesque III" expands on their signature shoegaze sound with a dreamy touch, starting with "Handful of Hate" (M1), which incorporates indie pop and indie emo influences. "Follow Your Lead" (M2) features guest vocals from Eunhae, who is also active in Seoul with their project FauloCity, delivering a refreshing and melodic track. Meanwhile, "Sanctum" (M6) blends elements of post rock, featuring a natural, flowing intro, lush textures, and intricate guitar phrasing, making this album a dynamic fusion of shoegaze and various other styles.
