In the late '70s, Weldon Irvin was producing a string of rare groove classics, including "Spirit Man" (1975) released by RCA Victor, and "Sinbad" (1976), featuring the hit song "I Love You." This 1998 album is a compilation of recordings that Weldon Irvin made at the time with Don Blackman, who he worked with at the same time, and a young Marcus Miller, but which had not seen the light of day for a long time. This is truly a rare groove album!
