This is the complete compilation of the historic live performance of Friction, a trio consisting of Reck (b/vo), Chico Hige (ds), and Tsunematsu Masatoshi (g), held at Kanagawa University in 1980. Released in 1996, the year after the release of "Zone Tripper," and when "_ed '79 Live" was hard to come by (it was released on CD as "79 Live" in 2005), this album was welcomed by fans old and new as a way to learn about the early Friction live performances. Despite being recorded just six months after "79 Live," it is clear to see that the trio had evolved and deepened to an incredible degree. The extraordinary prominence, solidity, and tightness are nothing short of amazing.
